‘Moratti can’t handle minor role’

Former Inter director Ernesto Paolillo says that Massimo Moratti could sell his shares because ‘he’s used to being on the frontline.’

Former Nerazzurri President Moratti is rumoured to be considering the sale of his 30 per cent stake in the club.

Paolilo, who was part of the club’s backroom staff from 2006 to 2012, believes a sale is likely and also discussed the season ahead for the club.

“Moratti loves Inter, but he’s used to being on the frontline,” Paolillo told Gazzetta.it.

Mancini’s Inter must take more risks

Despite returning to winning ways against Bologna, Varun Mathure feels that Roberto Mancini needs to gamble more with his Inter side.

It isn’t often that you find a team that has scored an average of one goal per game occupying top spot in their League. However, that’s exactly where Inter find themselves, after grinding out their fifth 1-0 win of the campaign, despite being reduced to 10 men.

Mancini: 'Inter better with 10'

Roberto Mancini “wants much more” from Inter after their 1-0 win away to Bologna. “Maybe we do play better with 10 men.”

Mauro Icardi scored the goal at the Stadio Dall’Ara after Felipe Melo had received a second yellow card.

“I want much more, especially in the first half. The second period was totally different. We were too slow and didn’t create any spaces. Maybe we play better with 10 men,” Mancio told Sky Sport Italia.

Icardi: 'I don't get service'

Mauro Icardi celebrated Inter’s victory in Bologna, but admits “I don’t get much service.”

The centre-forward got his third goal of the campaign to give 10-man Inter the 1-0 win at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

“It’s the perfect evening because we won and it’s what we had to do. I knew that the goal had to arrive sooner or later, but the important thing is that we brought home the three points,” he told Sky Sport Italia and Mediaset Premium.

‘Icardi must not get agitated’

Inter Coach Roberto Mancini says Mauro Icardi ‘must not get agitated’ about his lack of goals.

The Argentine has scored twice so far this season, but has failed to find the net in his last three appearances.

Mancini believes his partnership with Stevan Jovetic can flourish, but has told the two forwards to ‘work for each other more’.

The Nerazzurri take on Bologna tomorrow evening and are under some pressure to deliver a win, having gone four games without victory.

Mancini: ‘Big margin for improvement’

Roberto Mancini admits his Inter side have a “big margin for improvement” ahead of the visit to Palermo.

The Nerazzurri are second in Serie A, but have not won any of their last three games against Fiorentina, Genoa and Juventus.

“The important thing is the table,” Mancini insisted in his Press conference ahead of the trip to Sicily.

“We have a big margin for improvement, so to be there [second] without being at our best is a positive. We’ve got everyone back, and we can think about improving in so many ways.
