Inter sales can fund Pogba swoop

Inter are determined to challenge Juventus, Real Madrid and PSG for the signing of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, claims La Gazzetta dello Sport.

It is widely reported the France international will leave Old Trafford this summer, especially after the club did not take up its option to extend his contract.

While Juve are trying to use players as part of an exchange, such as Miralem Pjanic and Douglas Costa, Inter would be more inclined to use a cash sum.

Nainggolan and Perisic could return to Inter

Inter could welcome Radja Nainggolan and Ivan Perisic back from loan spells at Cagliari and Bayern Munich, but not Mauro Icardi after his PSG move.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Antonio Conte is not entirely averse to giving these players another go, having decided last summer that they did not fit into his tactical project.

With the arrival of Christian Eriksen in January, some adjustments have to be made, and he is ready to consider how they’d slot into that approach.

'Icardi wants to stay at PSG'

Mauro Icardi’s legal advisor believes the Inter striker ‘has the desire’ to stay at Paris Saint-Germain and that Leonardo ‘wants to keep him’.

It had been reported Icardi would be returning to Inter at the end of the season, with PSG not taking up their €70m option to buy, but Letterio Pino is confident the Argentine will prolong his relationship with the Ligue 1 leaders.

“Leonardo knew what Mauro would give during the season,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss.

Icardi to Juve costs PSG 98m?

If PSG take up their purchase option on Mauro Icardi and then sell him to Juventus, it’s reported they will owe Inter €85m rather than €70m, taking the total to €98m.

The striker spent this season on loan in Paris at a cost of €13m, contributing 20 goals and four assists in 31 competitive games.

Despite that, his form fell away in recent weeks and his wife/agent Wanda Nara made repeated hints about returning to Serie A.

Moggi: 'Milik to Juve, not Icardi'

Luciano Moggi has claimed that Arkadiusz Milik is ‘more suited’ to Juventus than Mauro Icardi, who ‘would never see the ball’.

The two strikers have been linked with moves to Juve in recent days, but Moggi was under no illusions as to which one was a better fit for the Bianconeri.

“I don’t know what will happen, but when I hear about Mauro Icardi I have to rule him out,” the Old Lady’s ex-general manager told Canale 21.

Report: Icardi only wants Juve

Inter outcast Mauro Icardi only wants Juventus, who could offer Juan Cuadrado in exchange, reports Sport Mediaset.

Icardi has spent the season on loan at Paris Saint-Germain, but the French giants are unlikely to take up their option to buy.

The striker has since been linked with Napoli, and Sport Mediaset claims he is keen on a return to Italy.

However, the broadcaster warns he only wants to join Juve, who are ready to start negotiations with Inter.

Entourage: 'Icardi open to Napoli move'

A member of Mauro Icardi’s entourage confirms Napoli tried to sign him in the past and the Inter striker, on loan at PSG, would be open to a future move.

The forward has been linked with Juventus, Manchester United and Chelsea if PSG don’t activate the €70m option to buy at the end of the season.

Napoli are emerging as a very intriguing option, especially with Arkadiusz Milik and Dries Mertens expected to leave this summer.

Alex Sandro and Pjanic for Icardi?

Paris Saint-Germain are allegedly hoping to swap Juventus target Mauro Icardi with both Miralem Pjanic and Alex Sandro.

The Argentine arrived in Paris on loan from Inter last summer but looks set to be on his way back to Italy this summer.

But it’s unlikely to see Icardi return to Inter, as PSG reportedly has an option to sign the former Nerazzurri captain for €70m and could trigger the clause to then use Icardi in an operation to bring leverage on the table in order to bring both Pjanic and Alex Sandro to the French capital.

Icardi to Napoli, Milik to Juventus?

Napoli are back in the frame for Mauro Icardi, if Arkadiusz Milik goes to Juventus, but it depends on whether PSG purchase him outright from Inter.

There could be another merry-go-round on the transfer market this summer when it comes to centre-forwards.

Icardi has spent this season at Paris Saint-Germain on loan for €13m and there is an option to buy for €70m, but it is far from certain that it will be activated.

The Argentina international scored 20 goals in 31 competitive games, but is criticised by some for not being a team player.
