Chelsea use Bakayoko for Kessie

Chelsea believe they can snatch Franck Kessie from Milan for around €40-50m, perhaps in part-exchange for Tiemoue Bakayoko.

According to Tuttomercatoweb and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Maurizio Sarri aims to make the most of the delicate financial situation the Rossoneri find themselves in.

The Ivorian just turned 22 last month and joined Milan from Atalanta on a loan deal worth €8m in 2017 with obligation to buy for a further €24m in July 2019.

“It’s only a tactical decision. It is only tactical,” Unai Emery told Sky Sports UK, confirming it is not a fitness issue.
