Crotone considering Zeman?

Crotone are reportedly considering Zdenek Zeman to replace Ivan Juric as Coach ahead of their first-ever Serie A campaign.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juric is set to leave the club for Genoa, leaving the new boys with a managerial vacancy to fill, a search that has taken them to Zeman.

Foggia’s Roberto De Zerbi is believed to be Crotone’s first choice, but the former Napoli midfielder is not expected to leave his post after guiding the Apulians into the Lega Pro playoff final

Zeman: ‘Could have coached Milan, Inter’

Zdenek Zeman claims he could have Coached “Inter, Milan or Real Madrid” if not for his comments on doping.

The former Roma Coach famously declared that football “should get out of the pharmacies”, and accused Juventus of doping their players in the 1990s.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport cleared the Bianconeri in 2005, ruling that none of the drugs given to players were illegal, and club doctor Riccardo Agricola was later cleared of excessively medicating the players.

"However, at the moment, we still haven't structured an offer for the player. We'll talk about that in the next few days."

Giampaolo wants Foggia reunion

Marco Giampaolo has asked for his first player as Cesena boss – Italy and Lazio winger Pasquale Foggia.

Giampaolo was confirmed as the new Sea Horses tactician this week and he's making plans to keep the club in Serie A.

Amongst the players he is interested in is Foggia, a midfielder who he knows well given their time together at Ascoli in 2005-06.

Foggia was arguably the Bianconeri's best player that term and was instrumental in keeping the club in the top-flight. He scored four goals in 34 games.
