Chelsea offer €40m for Koulibaly?

Chelsea will offer €40m for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, claim Mediaset Premium, as Everton prepare to go even further.

The bidding war for the Senegal international is spiralling out of control and at this rate it will be difficult for Napoli to resist much longer.

The centre-back just turned 25 last month and was signed from KRC Genk in July 2014 for €7.75m.

According to Mediaset Premium this evening, another offer in the region of €40m will be presented by Chelsea over the next few days.
