West Ham in for Seedorf

Clarence Seedorf could be set for a go at the Premier League, with West Ham United having reportedly offered him a contract.

The Dutchman recently confirmed that he would be leaving Milan after a decade with the Rossoneri and hinted that he would like to play in England, if the opportunity presented itself.

Having played in the Netherlands, Spain and Italy, the 36-year-old could get his wish, with newly-returned top-flight outfit West Ham.

Gamberini has West Ham offer

Fiorentina defender Alessandro Gamberini is “wanted by Bayer Leverkusen and West Ham,” said his agent.

The 31-year-old’s current deal expires with the Viola in July 2013 and he has already received offers from Napoli in recent months.

Cellino: 'I could buy West Ham'

Cagliari President Massimo Cellino has confirmed he “could buy up West Ham even if they are in the First Division.”

The businessman had already been in advanced negotiations to take over the Hammers in January 2010, but talks fell apart.

He had planned to invest €55m and even booked Coach Massimiliano Allegri – now a Scudetto winner at Milan – for the bench.

“Some bad things happened at that time,” declared Cellino, who was passed over in favour of David Sullivan and David Gold.

De Canio linked with West Ham job

Lecce Coach Luigi De Canio could be heading for the Premier League, as he has been linked with the West Ham job.
