Kessie and Gagliardini reunion

The boys from Bergamo both headed to San Siro, but Jack Stevens looks at how Franck Kessie and Roberto Gagliardini have fared so far.

As the Derby della Madonnina looms ominously, two of Italy’s most iconic sides match up to claim their rightful place as ‘the’ club in Milan. Both share the same skies and the same streets, and both come from the same home, only to be divided by a rivalry woven into their history.

“Sitting on the Milan bench, despite having a great history as a Rossoneri player, was not easy,” Bonucci told Milan TV.

“There was a lot of pressure when he arrived, more than is deserved for a Coach coming newly to a bench.
