Did Dybala insult Allegri?

There is a Paulo Dybala controversy brewing at Juventus after he was caught on camera insulting Coach Max Allegri.

The striker was substituted during the 6-2 victory away to Udinese on Sunday evening and did not seem at all pleased with the decision.

He was spotted muttering an insult in Spanish while he was looking towards Allegri on the bench.

Sky Sport Italia and Rai Sport both reported on the incident.

Sassuolo squeeze past SPAL

Sassuolo pounced on a defensive error after 45 seconds and saw a late penalty saved in this chaotic victory away to SPAL.

Matteo Politano caught Francesco Vicari in position during the opening minute to give the Neroverdi a lead that they never let go of.

Mirco Antenucci hit the woodwork for SPAL and it should’ve been 2-0, but Domenico Berardi’s spot-kick was parried by Alfred Gomis.

Sassuolo also ended the match down to 10 men after substitute Cassata’s straight red card three minutes into his Serie A debut.

Report: Benatia to miss Udinese

Juventus defender Medhi Benatia will reportedly miss Sunday’s match against Udinese with a bruised ankle.

Benatia was replaced midway through Juve’s 2-1 win against Sporting CP on Wednesday, and Tuttosport claims tests showed ‘heavy’ bruising to his left ankle.

Although “it seems unlikely that he can recover” for the trip to Udine, the newspaper expects him to ‘definitely’ return against SPAL next weekend.

Bologna see off SPAL in derby

Bologna were made to work hard for this victory in the local derby, as SPAL set up a nervous finale with Mirco Antenucci’s stunner.

This fixture hadn’t been played at all since 1992-93 and not in Serie A for 50 years.

Andrea Poli opened the scoring by finishing off a magnificent team move, sparked by Federico Di Francesco’s perfect first touch and Rodrigo Palacio knock-down.

Godfred Donsah was on the counter and tried to set up Palacio for the second, which Bartosz Salamon accidentally turned into his own net.
