Jorginho: 'Every game like a final'

Semplici: 'SPAL deserve credit'

Leonardo Semplici said SPAL “deserve credit” for stopping Juventus and believes they have finally settled into their Serie A surroundings.

This result saw Serie A leaders Juve held after 12 consecutive victories in the league, but it certainly was not a Catenaccio approach.

Antenucci: 'Proud of stopping Juve'

SPAL striker Mirco Antenucci thanked the fans at the Stadio Mazza and admits their draw with Juventus was “something to be proud of.”

The Spallini are the first side to stop Juve finding the net on their travels in all competition since Barcelona at Camp Nou in September.

“It’s an important point that allows us to continue our fight for Serie A safety,” Antenucci told Mediaset Premium after a 0-0 draw.

SPAL put spanner in Juve works

Leaders Juventus saw their run of 12 consecutive Serie A victories grind to a halt, as SPAL more than earned their stalemate.

The Bianconeri kept a joint record 10th clean sheet on the bounce, but dropped points and gave Napoli the opportunity to close the gap to two points if they beat Genoa tomorrow.

SPAL worked their socks off in the passionate atmosphere of the Stadio Paolo Mazza and ultimately there were few real chances for either side.
