Agent: 'Sampdoria have Schick'

Sampdoria have beaten Roma to the €4m deal for Patrick Schick, confirmed the Sparta Prague striker’s agent.

“It is all done,” agent Dario Canovi told Pagine Romaniste.

“Sampdoria will pay €4m, split into €2.5m straight away, then instalments of €1m and €0.5m.

“Schick was a priority for Sampdoria and not for Roma, so he went there.”

Could there be a synergy between Samp and Roma in future?

“I can rule that out.”

Roma-Samp for Schick

Roma and Sampdoria are both after Sparta Praga's youngster Patrik Schick, although legal issues are a problem.

The 20-year-old was loaned to Bohemians 1905, but he is on his way back to his home club and has attracted enough international attention to merit a bigger transfer.

According to Calciomercato.it, both the Giallorossi and the Blucerchiati are after the player, with the former particularly interested and having decided to make a concrete move.
