Ibrahimovic set for Milan loan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic could join Milan on a six-month loan until June, keeping him and the LA Galaxy happy, maintains La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Swedish veteran confirmed on Friday it was “no secret” that Milan wanted him back and in turn he’d like to “repay them for putting a smile back on my face” after his Barcelona spell.

Agent: 'Giovinco wants Toronto, but...'

Sebastian Giovinco wants to end his career at Toronto FC, said his agent, “but you never know what might happen.”

The Atomic Ant is now 31 years old and has been in the MLS club since February 2015, but his contract is due to expire in December 2019.

“He has a one-year contract with an option for another year,” agent Andrea D’Amico told RMC Sport.

“Giovinco hopes to remain in Toronto, because he is very happy there, but you never know what might happen on the transfer market.

Ibrahimovic accepts Milan?

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reportedly agreed a six month contract with Milan worth €2.2m.

The Swedish striker still has another year on his contract with LA Galaxy, but has been heavily linked with a return to the Rossoneri in January.

Technical director Leonardo met with Ibra’s agent, Mino Raiola, on Monday to try and discuss a deal.

Now SportMediaset is reporting that Ibrahimovic has agreed in principle to a six month deal worth €2.2m.

Raiola flies in for Ibra and Pogba

Agent Mino Raiola has flown in for negotiations with Milan over Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but can also discuss Paul Pogba with Juventus.

The representative arrived in Milan on Friday, officially so he could accompany Rossoneri midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura as he goes into knee surgery.

However, multiple news outlets are confident this is a chance to talk with Serie A clubs ahead of the January transfer window.

Pato denies Milan move

Alexandre Pato hit back at reports he is leaving Tianjin Quanjian for a return to Milan. “I never said that.”

The Brazilian has been repeatedly linked with a move to San Siro over the last few days, even taking a massive pay cut to push through the transfer.

“I never said I’m leaving Tianjin Quanjian. I never said I was coming back to Sao Paolo. And I never said I was going to Milan,” he wrote on Twitter.

Reports continue to spread that negotiations with Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a Milan comeback are progressing well.
