Buffon to push out Storari?

Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon could make his comeback earlier than expected, leaving Marco Storari to consider his future at the club.

Buffon recently returned to training after a six-month injury lay-off following a major back operation in the summer.

The 32-year-old has apparently been very impressive since his return to Vinovo, giving Juventus boss Gigi Del Neri a headache ahead of this week's match against Parma.

Toni, Floccari or Gilardino for Juve

Juventus plan to sign a striker in the January transfer and have Luca Toni, Sergio Floccari or Alberto Gilardino in their mind, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Gigi Del Neri would like a prolific goalscorer to lead his attack to take some of the burden off the rest of the team.

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta is known to be very keen on Gilardino who recently changed his agent, possibly to facilitate a move away from Fiorentina.

Cigarini could be a Juve target

Luca Cigarini's agent expects his client to be targeted by Juventus should the Bianconeri sell Momo Sissoko in January.

Juve don't want Floccari

Sergio Floccari will remain with Lazio despite speculation suggesting that he is wanted by Juventus.

The player is one of numerous strikers who are apparently being targeted by the Old Lady this month as they look to mount a serious Scudetto bid.

However, on the day when La Gazetta dello Sport insisted that Floccari is a Juve option, his agent maintains that such a claim is untrue.

"Juventus have never contacted me to ask about Floccari," Renzo Contratto made it clear. "I can deny such an hypothesis.

Juventus are looking at January reinforcements including Andrei Arshavin and Ivan Rakitic.
