Roma are preparing the finishing touches for their decisive Europa League semi-final clash with Bayer Leverkusen and have received a key boost from Paulo Dybala.

The Giallorossi have a mountain to climb in their Thursday evening trip to the BayArena, needing to overcome a 2-0 deficit after their painful defeat to Xabi Alonso’s high-flying side in the first leg last week. The German outfit are still undefeated across all competitions this term.

Following that defeat, Daniele De Rossi’s Roma hosted a wounded Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico, where they were held to a 1-1 draw. More concerning than the result was the adductor issue suffered by Paulo Dybala, who was forced off at the half-time break.

Dybala boost for Roma

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, De Rossi and his Roma squad took to the pitch at Trigoria for their final training session ahead of their trip to Germany, and they were joined by Dybala, who completed the entirety of the session, showing his recovery from the muscle concern.

The Argentine star will join his teammates for the trip to Leverkusen and he could start against Xabi Alonso’s side on Thursday evening, giving his side a key boost. Considering the weekend clash with Atalanta, he could just appear as a substitute in the Europa League semi-final second leg.
