Raiola talks Balotelli with Roma?

Agent Mino Raiola visited Roma headquarters today amid reports Mario Balotelli is looking for a transfer to the Olimpico.

According to Il Tempo newspaper, Raiola is meeting with Giallorossi directors today to finalise details for youth team player Luca Pellegrini’s new contract.

However, while there, he is also laying the groundwork for a possible free transfer swoop over the summer.

PSG eye Roma starlet?

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keeping tabs on teenage Roma left-back Luca Pellegrini.

According to Il Tempo and Foot Mercato, PSG are unconvinced by Layvin Kurzawa and Yuri Berchiche and have turned to Pellegrini.

The 18-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season, and the publications warn he has yet to agree an extension with the Giallorossi.

Furthermore, Pellegrini is represented by Mino Raiola’s cousin Enzo, who would have been notified of interest from the French giants.

New injury for Luca Pellegrini

Roma youth team player Luca Pellegrini made his comeback after a torn ACL and promptly fractured his patella.

The 18-year-old defender has been extraordinarily unlucky in his brief career.

He was ruled out pre-season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Pellegrini made his comeback this week and immediately fractured the left patella during a nasty collision in the game with Milan.

He had surgery today to repair the fracture and is expected to be out for around two months.

Roma’s ACL issues

Rick Karsdorp has become the latest in a long line of Roma players to suffer a cruciate ligament injury.

The Dutch defender made his debut for the club last night, but tests have confirmed that he suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament during the win over Crotone.

A torn ACL is a fairly common injury for footballers, but the Giallorossi have been particularly badly afflicted in recent years.

Kevin Strootman missed the best part of two seasons after suffering the injury against Napoli in 2014.

Roma starlet ruptures ACL

Roma left-back Luca Pellegrini will be out for several months after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.

The 18-year-old sustained the injury in his left knee during yesterday’s 1-0 friendly win over Slovacko.

A statement from the Giallorossi confirmed he will go under the knife over the next couple of days.

It’s a heavy blow for Roma, because Pellegrini was being used in pre-season to cover for Emerson Palmieri – who ruptured his ACL during the final day of last season on May 28.
