Arsenal have reignited interest in Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic ahead of the summer transfer window, reports detail.

The Gunners were seriously interested in signing the Serbian forward back in January 2022 before he ended up joining the Old Lady in a deal worth around €83m, forcing the Premier League side to look elsewhere, picking up Gabriel Jesus the following summer.

Despite the difficulties in Turin, Vlahovic has continued to impress this season for Juventus, scoring 17 goals across 33 matches. With just over two years left on his contract, the club are keen to extend his deal by at least a year, wanting to spread his amortisation costs and his hefty €12m net salary.

Page 13 of today’s Tuttosport details how Arsenal have started targeting Vlahovic ahead of the summer as they look for a reliable goalscorer to help them keep pace with Premier League giants Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta’s side have needed a consistent source of goals for a while now, as Jesus has only netted eight in 33 this term, and the Serbian striker’s contractual situation at Juventus could help facilitate a move.
