Napoli join Ferran Torres race

Napoli have joined the race to sign Valencia winger Ferran Torres, but there’s competition from Juventus, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid.

His contract is due to expire in June 2021 and he has no intention of signing an extension, making a sale almost inevitable for this summer.

According to Radio Valencia and Rai Sport, Napoli are the latest team to place themselves in the running for his signature.

Calciomercato.it maintain the contract situation means he could even be allowed to leave for as little as €20-30m.

It is this cost that is causing concern for Roma, according to Sky Sport Italia, and postponing the closure of any deal.
