Ferrero: 'Eto'o will join Samp'

Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero confirmed “Samuel Eto’o will arrive and score many goals.”

The club is now stating that they have an agreement with Eto’o and are just waiting for him to terminate his contract with Everton by mutual consent.

“Eto’o will arrive and he will score many goals,” grinned outlandish President Ferrero to the media.

Samp: 'We have Eto'o agreement'

Sampdoria confirmed they “have an agreement” with Samuel Eto’o and are waiting for him to end his Everton contract.

The Cameroon legend is believed to have agreed terms for a two and a half year contract with some reporting it even includes a clause to make a film of his life.

“Eto’o has been a great operation on the transfer market,” Sampdoria director of sport Carlo Osti told Sky Sport Italia.

Eto'o agent 'optimistic' for Samp

Samuel Eto’o is “working towards coming to Sampdoria” and “optimistic,” said the Everton striker’s agent.

Claudio Vigorelli was in the stands for Samp’s 1-0 win over Empoli on Sunday and had a more formal meeting with the directors on Monday.

“The only uncertainty is the salary, but I am optimistic,” Vigorelli told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“We will continue working towards coming to Sampdoria.”
