Report: Gotze offered to Milan and Roma

Borussia Dortmund player Mario Gotze has been offered to both Milan and Roma, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

The former Germany international has struggled to make an impact at the Signal-Iduna Park and has not convinced Die Schwarzgelben enough to renew his current deal expiring in June.

The World Cup winner has reportedly been offered to both Milan and Roma, but the newspaper claims that none of the two Serie A sides have been tempted to negotiate with the former Bayern Munich star.

Roma are interested in Mario Götze, with reports in Germany suggesting the Borussia Dortmund striker would relish this Serie A experience.

The 27-year-old will be a free agent in June, when his contract with BVB expires.

He has scored three goals in 13 Bundesliga appearances for the club this season, but a new contract does not appear to be on the horizon.

The Corriere dello Sport suggested initial talks between Roma director Gianluca Petrachi and Götze’s agent had already taken place.
