Boca: 'We discussed Tevez return'

The President of Boca Juniors had dinner with Juventus and Carlos Tevez tonight. “We discussed his return to Boca.”

These reports have been circulating for several days now, fuelled by tweets from Tevez’s brother hinting at a comeback to his old club.

This evening Boca President Daniel Angelici was in Italy for a group dinner with Tevez and Juventus President Andrea Agnelli.

“We discussed his return to Boca, without giving a precise date,” confirmed Angelici to reporters.

Marotta on Tevez-Boca reunion

Beppe Marotta insists Carlos Tevez is “in his natural habitat” at Juventus, but won’t rule out a return to Boca Juniors.

The Bianconeri director was asked about the rumours sparked by Tevez’s brother, who wrote several posts on Twitter implying an imminent move to his old club Boca.

“I have to say at this moment there is no reason for alarm, because he is very happy here, had the chance to rehabilitate himself as a professional and achieve great results as a consequence,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.

Pochettino: ‘Delighted to play for Juve’

Tomas Pochettino has spoken of his joy as the Argentinian youngster stands on the verge of completing a move to Juventus.

The Boca Juniors midfielder is almost certain to move to the Bianconeri in January, with a loan move to Sassuolo being mooted to help the young playmaker settle in Serie A.

“I haven’t signed yet, but I’ll do a medical tomorrow then go back to Argentina,” Pochettino revealed in an interview with Calciomercato.

Pochettino heading to Juve

There are reports Boca Juniors starlet Tomas Pochettino is flying in for a medical ahead of his Juventus move.

The 18-year-old midfielder had already been spotted during a youth tournament in South Africa and rumours of a deal have been circulating for some time.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Pochettino is flying in to Italy this week for a medical and the final details of his contract.

When he arrives in January, he is highly likely to be sent out on loan to Sassuolo in order to help him settle in Serie A.

Juventus close to Boca kid

Juventus are close to securing the signature of Boca Juniors midfielder Tomas Pochettino, according to reports.

The Argentinian season finishes on November 29, and it’s believed that the 18-year-old could make the move to Italy in the January transfer window.

Boca President eyes Tevez, but…

Boca Juniors President Daniel Angelici claims Carlos Tevez could return to the club as soon as next year.

The Argentinean striker began his career with Boca and has more than once offered comments like this one in 2012: “My biggest wish is to finish my career in the Boca shirt.”

Boca President Angelici, though, is targeting a quicker return to La Bombonera than most would have anticipated.

“Let’s see if Tevez will come back next year,” Angelici has told ESPN this week.

Juve eye Tevez renewal

Juventus are apparently planning to put in front of Carlos Tevez a proposed new contract at the club until June 2018.

Official: Torino sign Sanchez Mino

After weeks of red tape, Torino have finally signed Boca Juniors midfielder Juan Manuel Sanchez Mino.

The 24-year-old’s arrival was held up by issues over his application for joint Italian citizenship and passport.

This afternoon Torino announced Sanchez Mino had completed his permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.

The Argentine signed a contract until June 2018 and is believed to have cost €3.2m.

Torino sign Boca's Sanchez Mino

Torino have officially signed Juan Manuel Sanchez Mino from Boca Juniors for a reported €3.2m.

The transfer had been in the air for several weeks, but was held up by red tape issues.

Sanchez Mino is a 24-year-old midfielder who grew up in the Boca Juniors youth academy.

Last season he scored four goals in 31 games for the club.

It’s reported the deal is worth €3.2m with a four-year contract.
