Boca: 'We asked Inter about Icardi'

Boca Juniors President Daniel Angelici confirmed they have “asked Inter about the Mauro Icardi situation.”

The striker has been frozen out by Coach Antonio Conte, director Beppe Marotta and even President Steven Zhang, who all made it absolutely clear he has no place in their squad.

“I know that (Boca director of sport Nicolas) Burdisso spoke to (Inter vice-president Javier) Zanetti and asked about the Icardi situation,” Angelici told Radio Cooperativa.

De Rossi: 'Boca as mad as Roma'

Daniele De Rossi feels right at home with Boca Juniors because “they live football 24 hours a day and it’s the same madness as at Roma.”

Giulini: 'Nandez should be in 48 hours'

Cagliari President Tommaso Giulini denied talks for Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan, but he is losing patience with Boca Juniors for Nahitan Nandez.

Nicolò Barella was sold to Inter for €40m plus up to €10m in bonuses, with that cash reinvested in Marko Rog from Napoli and probably Boca’s Uruguay international Nandez too.

There have even been reports Nainggolan wants a return to Sardinia, where he really made his Serie A mark.

De Rossi’s Boca debut revealed

Boca Juniors say they hope Daniele De Rossi makes his debut for the club on August 14.

De Rossi recently completed a free transfer to Boca, the midfielder signing a one-year contract after he ended his lifelong association with Roma.

“We’re doing physical and tactical work,” said Coach Gustavo Alfaro after the Argentine giants’ 0-0 draw with Huracan on Sunday.

OFFICIAL: Boca sign De Rossi

Boca Juniors have completed the signing of former Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi on a free transfer.

Boca announced on Friday evening in an official statement that De Rossi had put pen to paper on a one-year contract.

It is understood the 36-year-old has clauses to leave the club in December and March.

The Roman made 616 appearances in all competitions for his hometown side, winning two Coppa Italia and a Supercoppa.

He also played 117 times for Italy, scoring 21 goals and lifting the World Cup in 2006.

Daniele De Rossi has completed his Boca Juniors medical and been given a tour of the legendary Bombonera stadium.

The former Roma man flew out to Buenos Aires on his 36th birthday and was mobbed at the airport by fans greeting his arrival.

He had his medical today and will be presented to the media in a Press conference on Monday, postponed from tomorrow reportedly so that President Daniel Angelici could be present.

Former Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has undergone a medical ahead of his free transfer to Boca Juniors.

De Rossi landed in Buenos Aires earlier on Thursday, and hundreds of Boca fans waited outside for him as he checked in and out of a clinic for medical tests.

The 36-year-old is now on his way to meet his new teammates for the first time.

He is expected to sign a one-year contract with the Argentine side, which includes options to leave in December and March.
