The Partenopei reportedly found a deal with the Serie B club and the agents, but still need the player's consent in order to sign him.

As Juventus meet Pescara today to discuss Lapadula, Napoli have issued the player with an ultimatum, according to La Repubblica, demanding a definitive answer in the space of a maximum of one week.

The player, who was expected to make up his mind as early as today, has been contacted by the Vesuviani and reassured that he would not be playing second fiddle to Gonzalo Higuain.

Apparently Coach Maurizio Sarri is working on changing his formation from a 4-3-3 to a 4-3-1-2 that would let Lapadula play as a starter in a partnership with Higuain.
