Back in May, Inter fought back to win 3-2 here in the final round of the Serie A season to secure a Champions League spot.

“Last season is all water under the bridge. This is a game like any other and there are three points up for grabs,” Tare told Sky Sport Italia.

“In fact, it’s worth six points, but only because a win this evening would allow us to leapfrog Inter and get closer to Napoli.

“I said before the game with Marseille that injuries and players off form had affected us, but at the end of the day we are where we want to be.

“It’s a big game against a dangerous opponent, but we have everything required to do well tonight.”

Lazio are fresh from a 3-1 Europa League victory away to Olympique Marseille.
