Serie A has rejected Milan’s demands for their game against Frosinone to be played at the same time as Juventus-Atalanta.

Milan had sought the change as they perceived Atalanta had an advantage by playing Juve later, the latter fixture having only been moved to the evening last Friday.

However, Serie A chief executive Luigi De Siervo told Radio Anch’io Sport: “We sold TV rights early in the season and I don’t think we can change the time of the match between Milan and Frosinone.

“It would cause damage to broadcasters.”

As it stands, the Rossoneri’s visit of the Canarini will be played this Sunday at 17:00 BST, with the Dea taking on the champions two-and-a-half hours later.
