Alessio Cerci is having his Genoa medical, as he’s set to leave Milan on loan for the rest of the season.
The winger is on loan with the Rossoneri from Atletico Madrid, as part of the deal which saw Fernando Torres return to Atleti.
The Diavolo were keen to move Cerci on, and a deal has been agreed with the Grifone for some time.
However, the move was being blocked by a Qatari investment fund which owns part of his contract, but last night it emerged that they had given their approval.
Cerci is now undergoing his medical at Istituto Baluardo di Genova, and should officially complete the move in the next few hours.
